The purpose of the Building Review Committee is to review construction on private non-WPOA property (including driveway cuts & culverts and docks & rafts) within Wildwood for conformity with WPOA By-laws and Rules and Regulations, town and state codes/regulations, septic rules, as well as rules of conservation. This committee will advise the Board of non-compliance issues. There could be a fee charged to cover potential damages to WPOA roads by heavy equipment and vehicles. The committee will determine the fee in consultation with staff.

2024 Goals:
Provide a Building Review process that assists Wildwood members during their projects and clarifies the decision-making process. The Board of Directors and the Building Review Committee both have roles as well departments within the Town of Tolland.
- Streamline and clearly outline the Building Review process.
- The Board of Directors need to define what information they need/want and what the process is for informing them of projects within the community.
- Clarify the language and what is/isn’t within the committee’s scope.
- Clarify which projects need approval and which projects do not need approval.
