The community boasts two ponds, the larger of which is spring fed, for fishing, swimming and boating. These ponds, as well as the five sandy beaches, are for the exclusive use of Wildwood members. For noise, safety and ecological reasons, only sail, paddle, or electric-powered boats with a maximum of 55# of thrust are permitted, and the road speed limit is fifteen (15) miles per hour.
Other activities available exclusively to Wildwood members are tennis, Pickleball, basketball, baseball, volleyball, cross-country skiing and hiking. Additional recreation can be found at Granville State Forest and Tolland State Forest.
The rustic clubhouse houses the Wildwood office, kitchen and laundry and is equipped with high speed WiFi.
